M & M: Movie Analysis

Decent Essays
The conflict that Mark and Bryon had was when they never talked when it came to M&M being found and when Bryon found out that Mark was selling drugs and Mark was fighting and Bryon didn’t want to. The action between them was when they didn’t talk to each other anymore. I’m in a agreement with Mark because he always to cover for Bryon. Mark never made Bryon feel so messed up. Mark made sure that Bryon had everything that Bryon wanted and needed. Mark even told Bryon that he doesn’t like Cathy but he was still nice to her. Bryon sold Mark out by calling the cops on Mark when he should’ve talk to him first. Mark always but his friend before anyone else. Mark also made sure that Bryon never get hurt. Mark would rather get in trouble than see Bryon …show more content…
I do know that Mark doesn’t want to hear it. I think that they argued the whole time while Mark was home. Mark and Bryon fist fighting again. Mark ran away again. Bryon and Mark never talked ever again. Bryon and Mark never seen or heard from each other again. Mark moved to another state.

The version I would prefer is the book. The book made more sense than the movie. The book seem more in order than the movie did. In the book the narrator should’ve included that Bryon and Mark started fist fighting. The book should’ve also included that Mark got pulled over by the cops for running the red light. I think the actors did a good job playing their parts. The actors did really well with the emotion the characters had.

The theme of the story and the movie was not to lie, steal, and start problems when it leads to fights. What the author was trying to get across me is not do things you will regret. What I mean by it was how Bryon call the cops on Mark and Bryon regretted it. Or when Mark was selling drugs to M&M and caused M&M to have problems, and Mark cause him and Bryon not to have a friendship. Or when Bryon caused him and Mark to not have a friendship or when he caused him and Cathy not to have an relationship anymore. That was the theme of the story not to do things that you will regret for the rest of your

Within the film Project Nim, researchers study a Chimpanzee, Nim Chimpsky, throughout his life within different homes, labs, and most importantly types of research. Researchers playing God upon a life is difficult to watch at times, and so there are visceral and intellectual reactions regarding specific scenes that were shown. Viscerally, it was really weird because Nim’s life was to understand how similar Chimps are to humans, however, it became more than that after 5 years. Intellectually, it was fascinating to see how Nim interacted with others with primal behavior during his “human” life and his “lab chimp” life. When Nim begins to drastically increase his sign vocabulary, it was intellectually interesting because I was curious to see what…

To comfort her,Mrs. Carter says: “Sometimes you can do everything right and things will still go wrong. The Key is to never stop doing right”(150). Kristen Johnson April 21, 2009 SICKO ESSAY 1. There were two stories in the film that resonated with me the most. First, the story about how insurance companies search for small things in people’s insurance applications so they can have a reason to deny the policy or increase rates, no matter how much the money is needed. The story about Julie Pierce and her husband Traci was really a heartbreaking story. Even though they had health insurance, they denied medication and care that he needed.…
