P. N. M Character Analysis

After two thirty-minute sessions spent with P.N.M I learned a lot about him as a young child and his background. P.N.M is a four-year-old boy born in January of 2012. He is average height for a four-year-old boy with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He is very well taken care of and has a great clean appearance. He dresses in nice brand clothing with the occasional hole in the knee or dirt on his pant legs from acting like a typical little boy. He is the second child of three. P.N.M has an older brother who is eleven years old and has a younger sister who is 6 month old. He is a great brother to both of his siblings. He loves to learn from his big brother and loves to give a helping hand to his parents with his little sister. P.N.M is a very intelligent little boy who is also a charmer and is quite the character. Him and his brother always play together outside creating things or playing on their bikes. Even when P.N.M’s brother’s friends come over he is involved in their play and always comes up with new ideas. This demonstrated dramatic and cooperative play. P.N.M demonstrates many strengths and weaknesses in his social development. Some of P.N.M’s strengths includes, enjoying interacting with other children and even adults, establishes and maintains friendships with other children as well as seeking others ' acceptance and friendship, uses a variety of words and actions to demonstrate awareness, understanding, and concern for other friends feelings and he uses strategies, including negotiation and compromise to resolve conflicts (Macarena & Cain, 2015). Some of P.N.M weaknesses include occasional not considering other friends ideas, occasional temper tantrum when not getting his way and occasional talking back to his parents (Macarena & Cain,
