Lynn Tilton display a variation characteristic associated with being a good lead and good manager. Ms. Tilton has a great way of bonding with her employees. It displays a leadership characteristic of motivating, influencing, and changing behavior. Lynn executes plans when she purchases the companies she acquires. She acquires manufacturing companies headed for bankrupt and changed them into a profitable business. This includes implementing her work style which delivers goods and service to the customers. Ms. Tilton is a visionary, she identifies companies who are failing yet she turns them around to be profitable.
Ms. Tilton informs us she is controlling. She plans her moves and organizes each company and very visional with her employees.

There are several characteristic I admire about her. I am impressed that Ms. Tilton is very ethical and her employees (union officers) believe her what she says. Ms. Tilton impressed me with her business understanding with statically aspect of her purchasing a company. A single mother and woman becoming a tycoon are wonderful. A woman accomplishing what she did within a short time shows to ladies we are capable of achieving anything the Lord allows within his will.
I would not like to work for Ms. Tilton because she appears to have an arrogant about being controlling. When a person is too controlling they like things their way without exceptions. Her knowledge of the job is great. Allowing the employees and managers input would empower the employees with new ideas. It appears it would be extra ordinary hard to change her view. Engaging employees give them a sense of ownership and accountability to the organization. She describe she is faithful to her inner truth. Leaders will set expectations clear and perform follow up to ensure instructions are carried out. Leadership has bad characteristic traits also. A leader demonstrates a lack to sustain effective action. This bad trait is when a leader is not flexible and the team suffers for the inflexibility. Leadership displays a lack of self-control shows their intemperate. I found out that bad leadership can display callousness, corrupt, insular, and evil. These bad traits and others will lead to ineffective leadership skill. Leadership is not suited for everyone. Leadership represents different styles and traits.
