Have you ever thought about how much you really lie? We all lie at some point in our lives. Some more than others. But is it allowable? Is it morally right? No, I do not believe it is. Many people do not see the issue in lying. They lie all the time for selfish reasons, like to protect themselves or lie about little things to allow themselves to maintain an image. Lying about small things really isn’t worth it and overcomplicates your life. As Brad Blanton says, “Lying keeps you locked in the jail of your own mind.” Which means, once you tell a lie, you have to keep up on what you told certain people and remember exactly what you said.

While some people may believe lying is completely acceptable, I fully believe that it makes
