“Lying is always wrong”

A lie is a statement used intentionally for the purpose of deception. Communicating lies is called lying, and a person who says a lie may be called a liar.

Lying is always wrong because it diminishes trust between human beings. If people didn’t tell the truth, you wouldn’t be able to trust anyone. Lying is considered immoral because some things are fundamentally bad and lying is one of them.
