For decades the answer to the question “When is lying okay?” has never been answered. There are several different viewpoints on the topic, that all have solid evidence supporting their claim. The only time(s) lying is acceptable is when it is to save someone's life, or to make someone feel confident in themselves. If an innocent person was to be killed, I would not hesitate to save their life.
