Luther Vandross 2003
Here and Now
As life would have it, there were more difficult times ahead. Luther had a stroke in 2003, which left him handicapped. It was in that year that “Dance With My Father” was released.
The song was so bittersweet that it made us feel some type of way about Luther, his father and our very own. So few songs are attributed to a father that this was really special coming from an icon such as Luther Vandross.
Needless to say, Vandross had an unforgettable career. The balladeer won numerous awards for his fabulous performances, including a few Grammy Awards and at least four NAACP Image Awards.
