Lung Cancer Monologue

It all happened when I went to the hospital that warm nice evening.
I was getting ready to go to the hospital, then I got a call from the doctor, he said “Hi Sammy this is your doctor I need you to come to the hospital earlier” Then I wandered with curious “ok no problem I will come over now”. I go to the hospital, he pulled me back to the back room just like any other check up. He said in this weird tone I never heard before “ Sammy I need to tell you something you well you got Lung cancer” “I do not I am a healthy person”. I said with darkness in my mind.

I went straight home from that place. I was so sad and just angry with myself. I called my mom and dad and told them what the doctor said to

When I went back the second time to the doctor. He said In a happy way “Well Sammy all of your cancer is gone from all that surgery that you had, we got it all out of your body” for a second I thought he was joking but he wasn't. He also said “ Lung cancer kills 198 women every day -8per hour and one death every 7 mins” ( Lung Cancer facts.com ). I thought to myself how did they get all of that cancer out of me less than 2 months and there are still people out there getting ready to die. I am so lucky not to be one of those women out there in the world.

I was driving back home and it felt like the whole world was brighter than ever. The first thing I did when I went home was called the whole family to come over and have fun at my house. I can't even start to tell you how glad I was when I heard that I don't have cancer anymore. I looked up lung cancer I saw what he took out of me in the hospital it is Sputum or Phlegm is a thick fluid caught up from your lungs to cause Lung cancer (Lung Cancer fact.com). That Nice summer evening I fell asleep faster than ever. Still wondering if other people that have lung cancer will be ok. Just make sure you take care of your body and you will be better off getting rid of the cancer or help you so you do not have the
