The lunch provided by the school is not always the best choice. They have greasy pizza and unhealthy snacks such as chips and candy bars. So as a result students try to leave school for lunch and are risking their life due to lunch rush hour traffic. To resolve this issue the school should have restaurants like subway, chipotle, and or food that is fresh and appealing to the students.The food provided in the cafeteria does not benefit the students, and could become better if they included more fresh foods onto the menu. students do not like the food provided by the cafeteria and as a result they do not eat lunch. In 2012, 60 perecent of deaths among passenger vehicle occupants ages 16-19 were drivers Teen drivers have a high accident rate so allowing them to leave school for lunch will only increase that number. The amount of time allotted for lunch at school is not enough time for a teen to drive safely for lunch. Therefore the teeangers will feel rushed in order to get back to school in time. A recent national survey from the anti-hunger organization Share Our Strength found more than half of teachers have used their own money to buy food for hungry students.The food produced by the school benefits some families and could benefit the students even more if they increased the natural nutrients in the food rather than it being processed.
