In 1906 it took many workman to erect the great luna park that offered many attractions that ranged from a Scenic railway to, a ferris wheel, and also a a parachuting man dubbed the Human Bomb. The Park had plenty of food vendors, and trolleys that brought park visitors around. Luna Park also had a racing track where there was plenty of betting, almost too much betting. The betting got so far out of control the police could do almost nothing to contain it, and this issue became a key player of the parks quick shut down. Luna Park only lasted 4 summers. After the first summer Lunas managers called the park a Financial success even though that wasn't true. Luna Park was often looked down at as “Dirty” and the managers had trouble attracting middle
