In this essay I will be focusing on the story from Luke 12:27-34, Do Not Worry, and comparing it to the same story by Matthew 6:25-34. Worrying is an inevitable problem for Christians even though we know we are protected my God. In Luke 12:27-34 Jesus is confirming to his disciples that they do not have to worry in Luke 12: 22 when Luke writes, “Then Jesus said to his disciples: “There fore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.” We are blessed to be chosen to live this beautiful life through Him and for Him. First I will discuss how and why Jesus uses the analogy that we are like the wildflowers and lilies that bloom in the field. Then moving on, I will discuss how going through our day-to-day lives with little faith can be problematic and how we are intended to deal with these problems. Finally, focusing on the benefits and affects to living a minimalistic life style in our daily Christian life. The most important message is to continue living through Christ and there is enough worry in each day for we should live to live.
