Luke Bryan has worked over the years to become the successful country artist he is today. He grew up working on a farm in Georgia for his father (Luke Bryan Biography 1). In his early teens, he had decided that he wanted to have a career in music (Luke Bryan Biography 1). Luke began writing songs with some help from others (Luke Bryan Biography 1). Many of his songs made it on the Billboard Hot 100, and a lot of his albums made it on the Billboard 200 (Demings Award Section). Although Luke Bryan came from humble beginnings, growing up working on a farm in Georgia, his hard work and dedication through the years have propelled him to a very successful country career. Before he became famous, Luke was just a normal boy that went to high school and started a family after school. It all started when was given his first guitar at age 14 by his parents (Luke Bryan Biography 1). At that moment, Luke’s passion for country music grew (Luke Bryan Biography 1). His singing and playing strengthened about a year after getting his guitar, so he went to clubs that offered live country music to play with local bands (Luke Bryan Biography 1). Bryan was influenced by George Strait, Conway Twitty, Ronnie Milsap, Alan Jackson, and Merle Haggard, because his parents had their records (Luke Bryan Biography 1). At age 16, local tunesmiths helped him as he started writing songs (Luke Bryan Biography 1). Since his brother’s death delayed his moving date, Bryan continued playing at venues with his band while he attended college (Silva 10). He was the lead singer of his band, Neyami Road, in 1997 (Morris 8). They made an album that sold two or three thousand copies, and Luke wrote all of the songs that were on it (Morris 9).
