Luis Davil Student Recommendation

It is my pleasure to recommend Luis Davila for admission to the Georgia Institute of Technology. I have known Luis for a year and a half. Last year Luis was in my Pre AP physics class and this year Luis is in my AP Physics 1 class as well as my AP physics 2 class. He stands out as one my top students and has performed well in all the classes I had him for. Luis is a hard-working and intelligent student who is well prepared to face any challenge head on.

Luis possesses the qualities necessary to be an outstanding worker. He has the depth of character, the personal integrity, and the maturity to make his own decisions.Luis is modest about his accomplishments, he is dependable and accepts responsibility. He accepts challenges he is dealt without complaining, does his work wholeheartedly and faces problems head on. Even though Luis is extremely involved in other organizations such as National Art Honor Society, Skills USA, and National Technical Honor Society, he has been able to maintain almost all A’s.

When I was younger I played soccer frequently and joined a local team that was coached by a man named Joe Di Lillo. At the time I did not know the importance he would hold in my life or how having known him in his last years of life would change me, yet looking back I find that so much of my self determination is rooted in both his life experiences and the knowledge he handed down to me. Joe was Bon in 1933 in he city of Roman, thirty miles from Naples. He believes that some forms of education can provide students with power and control, but in most cases teachers submit their students to oppression.
