Her name is Lucille Mattess. She is from the Ti,azen nation. It’s in British Columbia. She is a small community called Binchekoyoh. She went to Lejac Indian Residential School. She was there for 8 years and started when she was 5 or 6. She had 5 siblings there, their name was Yvonne, Ronnie, Marian, Max and Teddy. They never seen each other at Residential School. Lucille Mattess had to wake up early in the morning to eat breakfast, then dressed for going to school, then after few hours to go to school, they went right away to their chores. On Halloween, the nuns would dress up the little ones in devils or witches and they would put fear into her and the little ones and also talk about the devil and Heaven and Hell.
