Warmed a bed with. Once Odysseus left on his journey home tragedy struck many of times causing him to lose all his crew to death. He was the only survivor of it all. Alone at last Odysseus floated upon Ogygia island where the nymph Calypso lives. On that island he spent seven years with Calypso- seven years of betraying Penelope. On Ogygia island Odysseus spent a lot of time weeping for his homeland, and for Penelope. Some would say that this is proof of Odysseus’s loyalty to Penelope, however despite Odysseus weeping his actions say other wise. Actions prove who someone is, words prove who they want to be. This is more than true in Odysseus’s case.
