Loyalty In The Outsiders

“Loyalty is hard to find. Actions speak louder than words.”~ Unknown Being loyal is being supportive to someone or something. Most of the time you would support a friend, or a family member about an argument. Justice is staying true to the facts and following the law. Loyalty is better than justice because if you got in trouble they would support you too, if you cared about them you would help, and you wouldn’t be a loyal friend or family friend if you didn’t support them.

To start off, if you got in trouble, your friend would support you too. In the Outsiders, one of Ponyboys friends was telling him a story about the time that Two-Bit broke some windows at school, and how Dallas covered for him and said that he did it instead of saying that Two-Bit did it. That shows loyalty and friendship and that if Dallas ever did something like that, Two-Bit would remember that time and stand up for his friend. In the Outsiders, Johnny and Ponyboy fell asleep in the lot after hanging out with their friends. When Ponyboy got

In the City of Ashes, on page 266, Jace didn’t turn on his friends and family to be with his evil father. “You could convince them. If you stand with me, I swear no harm will come to them…” “I’ve done so much to hurt them already,’ he whispered. ‘Nothing else must happen to them.’” This proves that Jace is a very loyal person, that he won’t make deals with evil people that may harm people that he cares about. Also, in the City of Ashes,

Loyalty is difficult to have in a friend. Everything you do is more important than everything you say. If you are loyal to someone, you will support them, they will support you, and you will not turn them in if you remember that you wouldn’t be a real friend if you did. Loyalty is better than justice because if you got in trouble they would support you too, if you cared about them you would help, and you wouldn’t be a loyal friend or family

“A group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common.” That is the definition of the word community. The Outsiders, a novel by S.E. Hinton, was based on a setting of a divided community consisting of the Socs, the rich Westside kids, and the Greasers, the poorer Eastside kids, usually deemed for trouble. The problem: they can’t put their differences aside, and realize they are both human. They just can’t crack the code on equality.…

    Damon And Pythias Analysis

Between “Damon and Pythias” and “Two Friends”, I believe that “Two Friends” presented friendship more realistically. The fact that “Damon Pythias” is a Greek legend, meaning that it’s an exaggerated story, makes its presentation of friendship a lot less realistic. On the other hand, “Two Friends” presented friendship more realistically since the author left a lot of hints, which foreshadowed the developments of the story. For example, it may seem unrealistic that M. Sauvage and M. Morissot went fishing in spite of the danger from the German troops nearby. However, this is realistic since in the previous paragraph, it’s mentioned that “They went into a little café and had an absinthe, then resumed their stroll along the sidewalks.…
