Not everyone agrees if you are old enough to join the military then you are old enough to drink. According to an article posted on CNN’s website, Melody Munroe, a 26 year old military wife, completely disagrees with lowering the legal drinking age. In fact, her opinion is the age should be raised to twenty-five. She did not always think that way and was only influenced to change her opinion after seeing the impact of drinking on younger soldiers while stationed on a military base. She says lives are being endangered by the younger soldiers who come to work hung over; not only theirs but everyone else’s as well.
