As mentioned in "Lower the Voting Age" A 16 year old voting age has been tested in other coutries across the world, with positive results. This article also makes a very strong point, being that there is a majority of elderly voters; and that the younger population isnt voting as much giving the elderly voters a much more magnified vote. while this isnt bad, because elderly voters have been around loger and have observed what works and what doesn't in our government, it also means they will most likely stick with what they think works; even though it may not be the best for a growing adapting scociety. …show more content…
