Some families make low income, so they wouldn’t be able to afford to go to college. Due to having low income, they would struggle to maintain good grades so they could receive scholarships. For example, a few years ago my dad got hurt on his job. His boss ran him over with a forklift and he received many injuries. Due to these injuries he is now unable to work and my mom is the only person working. Therefore, I struggle to keep my grades up so I will receive a scholarship.
