With prices of insurance and doctor visits continuously rising, people are now looking for cheaper primary care options. Low-cost primary care is providing families with cheaper doctor visits, they offer the same or better quality of care, and most locations have convenient hours. These facilities are being utilized more as opposed to visiting standard doctor offices because of their low price health care. They can often be found in Walgreens, Kroger’s, CVS, and there are also some stand-alone clinics as well. The stand-alone clinics are often known as community health clinics or free clinics. These facilities also offered extended hours; therefore an individual would not have to miss work or school to seek treatment. Having the option to visit a healthcare provider outside of the standard doctor office hours is a plus for many individuals. These locations are also convenient because they are typically attached to a pharmacy or have one nearby. They are one-stop shops as soon as an individual is done seeing the healthcare provider they can hand the prescription to the pharmacist and have everything taken care of at one location. Unlike other places where an individual would have to either depend on the physician to call the prescription in or they have to drive to the pharmacy and make a second stop. These clinics also allow for the healthcare providers to spend more time with patients, in comparison to a doctor’s office they are simply just trying to hurry and get through the schedule and see as many patients as
