Benefits of Low Carb Diet

For several years, the low carb diet has been very intriguing. This diet was first demonized by the media and fat-phobic health professionals. Many believed that this can increase the levels of cholesterol and causes illness due to the high fat content.

But, low carb diets have easen the cold reception of some health experts after numerous studies were conducted and yielded wonderful results. Since 202, many clinical studies have proven its effectiveness and value towards wellness. It is clearer now that low carb diets can lead to more weight loss and most important improvemenys in several risk factors like cholesterol.

When you follow this regimen, you can get rid of the extra water in your body. Because the insulin levels are lowered, the kidneys begin to shred the excessive amount of sodium, which leads to rapid weight loss in the first or second week.

Practicing this diet in your life will probably lead to losing of extra pounds twice or thrice without feeling so much hunger. It is more effective if you do this up to half a year. Remember, you can begin gaining weight back if you give up soon and go back eating the same old unhealthy stuff.

Think of the low carb diet more if lifestyle than a diet. This is the most excellent and effective way of succeeding it. However, several people add a few healthier carbs after reaching their weight goal.

It is a fact that not every single fat in your body are the same. The effects of fats depend on its location in the body. There are two (2) types; the visceral fat (in the abdominal cavity) and the subcutaneous fat (under the skin). The first one is riskier because it tends to accumulate around the organs. This can lead to insulin resistance and drive inflammation. Also, it is believed to cause metabolic dysfunction commonly affecting the Western nations
