Commentary A:
Matt’s father obviously torn by life’s downfalls has succumbed to abusing alcohol to numb the pain he has been put through because of the emptyness he feels which is seen through his own sons eyes.
Commentary B:
The father could be catagorized as deprived of love, passion, and meaning. This is showing the reader that if some one is unable to cope with their loss then the outcome would be a life of not wanting to live.
Concluding Sentence: Restate your claim by referring back to why fiction should/should not be included in curriculum.
Topics such as coping and finding love or passion in life isn’t portrayed in the same manner in nonfiction as it is fiction because fiction adds the element of flexibility that can change to fit the readers
