To become a leader is to know yourself and know where you aspire to be. A leader is an individual who has the power to guide his/her followers to a higher level of success within an organization or business. Leaders are the backbone of any organization, and without their invaluable leadership and guidance any business would be missing out on priceless opportunities and overall profit.
Nowadays we need exceptional leaders in today's businesses because great leaders allow for business or organizations to achieve higher levels of overall prosperity and opportunity. I appreciated all of the text we analyzed, but in the end it was “Love Works” by Joel Manby I enjoyed the most, because overall I feel it really encapsulated the idea that love really does work and works very well in the business realm. I wholeheartedly believe that anyone can mold themselves into becoming a great leader. From the above analysis, I can honestly say that I could basically apply everything I learned from this Leadership course in my life, not just to make myself a better person, but to also help improve my professional life down the road. In order to feel accomplished, I will need to work on, but the one thing I feel I need the most improvement in would be recognition. Further improving my recognition towards others would help me tremendously because I am adequate at giving praise to those that deserve it all the time. In my professional life, this will be paramount to my success.
