Definition Essay: Does True Love Exist?

Improved Essays
Love is both terrifying and amazing; no matter what it is everyone should pursue it. Love can be the meeting of two souls fully accepting the light and the darkness that hides in the mind, body, and personality; the passion of a movement, idea, or sport. In the end love can be everything and anything one wants it to be. Everyone has the capability to fall in love whether it is with another person or an inanimate object, or even just a thought; however, when you try to have one definition, the more confusing love becomes. There is no right or wrong answer. Everybody defines and experiences love in a different way. Whether it is the emotional connection to another human being, or just a strong feeling toward an idea or thought. True love cannot be defined; therefore, true love cannot be disproved or proved. Love has a meaning of its own to different people. Love is personal and special and if one believes it should be sacred and treasured, then it should be. If another person thinks it does not exist and doesn’t care about finding it, he/she shouldn’t. No matter if you have the same definition as another person or not, love will always be what you want it to be, or not to
