My Superpower

Nowadays, time goes by really fast and everything has to be done fast because it has a deadline. Nobody has time for friends, brothers, sisters, and family in general because people have too many extracurricular activities and they go from one place to another. I would make time to be with my family, hangout with my friends, and do the other activities I usually do. I would also go back in time to make more time to study for a test, due to the fact that not all of us have a relaxed agenda. Assisting others with the help of my superpower is something I would definitely consider. Sometimes people don't have enough time to visit their family, moms that work the whole day do not spend that much time with their children, and because of so many extracurricular activities kids loose the notion of time. Children are not enjoying what they do, they just do it because they have to. Helping others benefit from my superpower is not

What would you do if you could freeze your favorite event in time forever? Would it be a blessing or a curse? In “Einstein’s Dream,” his entry for 14 May 1905 gives you a visual about some very interesting contrasting views. The entry talks about how, “There’s a place where time stands still,” things are motionless in time. It talks about how the closer you get to the center the more things slow down and the further away you go from the center the faster things seem to speed up.…

Hey Everybody, As a teenager, I always got told to dress modestly by adults, I have been in the church ever since I was born, so I have seen a wide variety of interpretations on what people think modesty is. Today we live in a culture were dressing modestly is taught as something that we should do, but its also looked down upon a the same time. So I decided to take it into my own hands to do some research and see what some people's idea of modesty is. To start off, I went to the always trusty google and looked up the definition of modest and I got this "unassuming or moderate in the estimation of one's abilities or achievements.…

“With great power comes great responsibility”. This was said by someone who had a profound way with words, but I'm not sure exactly who it was, mainly because it has been said in every known origin story of a superhero I can think of, so I guess it's safe to say it is motivational. Imagine that you could have one super power. What would it be and how would you use it? What would be your kryptonite?…

An elderly woman who got to take part in a high school community service project states, “Many think that volunteering is all about what you give. But what catches you by surprise is how much you receive in return.” This demonstrates why many people do not feel that they should give back because they do not believe the benefits that they can get from it as well. Consequently, when creating that feeling of happiness and satisfaction in someone else’s life, it comes back to the person creating it. Volunteering to help someone get tutored, help the handicapped, involve themselves with a program like Meals on Wheels, certain environmental work, etc., not only does one gain from that, but one’s community has been helped because of them.…
