Webster’s dictionary claims love as multiple things: a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person; a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend; sexual passion or desire; a person toward whom love is felt; beloved person. These definitions are only the beginning though. Love is so many things, from passions to caring. Love is affection, love is fondness, love is yearning, and most of all, love is everywhere. Love is expressing passions and not getting in the way of other’s passions. Love can be expressed to an object, such as a baby blankey or a career, like in Cheaper by the Dozen. Tom wanted to coach the Stallions since he was in college and when he finally got to, he could not be happier. Additionally, when Tom’s wife, Kate, wanted to go on a book tour for the book she wrote, he encouraged her to do so. Tom even took care of the kids by himself so she could capture her dream. Love is accepting differences and not forgetting those who go. Not everyone is the same, this is common sense. Love is being able to accept that people are different from one another and that in the end, they are human and capable of giving as well as receiving love. Secondly, everyone goes through times of loss. This happens in many forms, as in a friend moving away, or even a death in the family.
