“Love is blind.” So many people say it, but what does it really mean? Everyone interprets it in different ways. A person who is eager to love and a person who has experienced multiple heart breaks would have two different views on love, two different ways of viewing the saying “Love is blind.” “Love is blind” can be interpreted in many ways and the connotations could be positive or negative, some of the ways that it can be interpreted in both ways would be that it has no filter, it has no sense of time, and it has no limit. Love has no standard because love can 't be predicted by anyone.
Love is blind: no one can 't say who you will fall in love with nor can you predict it. What you will have to do is accept it. People try to say that it matters

A majority of people fall in love with a person when the time isn 't right either for them. If a person loves someone and the time isn’t exactly right for either person, someone can and more than likely will get hurt. If you 're trying to love someone, but the person is not at a good point in his or her life, you could get hurt by them not reciprocating those feelings. That person can 't love you, vice versa if someone loved someone and the timing wasn 't good for them. For example in the movie Love and Basketball the two main characters Quincy, and Monica were best friends from childhood, they became more than that in high school. Once they got in college, they both were trying to handle school, basketball, and their relationship with one another. Quincy hit a point in his life where he wasn 't ready for the love that Monica was trying to give him, and she couldn 't give him the love he needed. They stayed away from each other until they were both grown and out of college. Quincy was weeks away from his wedding when Monica returned home, and she realized that she really loved Quincy. One night she challenges him to a game of basketball, if she wins, he calls off his wedding, and if he wins he can marry his fiancé. The reason behind this is that she knows she can 't beat Quincy in a game, but if she wins that means he let her win. At first Quincy is enraged with the idea stating that it was three weeks before his wedding and the world doesn 't revolve around her. He then agrees to the game and he wins, but he says “Double or nothing. “The movie ends with Monica playing in the WNBA with Quincy and their daughter cheering her on, and her jersey reads “Wright-McCall”, which tells us that they got married. This reminds me of a quote I once read a said: “The worst trick life could play on you is letting you meet the right person at the wrong time.”(‘@swaybelike’ “The most messed up joke life will play on you is letting you meet

I believe love at first sight is not possible. When a person thinks that they've fallen in love at first sight, they are just in love with the idea or image of the person. The first thing a person sees is the looks, you can't see their personality. They don't hold a sign with everything about them on it. In "Romeo and Juliet" the lovers believed they were so in love that they even died together.…

Ignorance is a very dangerous emotion. Ignorance not only becomes dangerous when people do not think before they act but also when people let themselves be a part of demeaning life situations due to being blind of an entire situation. Blind love is an example of such ignorance; people will do anything for love without thinking, even if it ultimately hurts them. It has been said that sometimes love requires sacrifice, which can be true to an extent. Healthy sacrifice occurs when a person sacrifices their time or maybe goes to a boring event to make their partner happy, which in turn makes them happy.…

In his sonnet, “Thou Blind Man’s Mark,” Sir Philip Sidney uses an apostrophe as a way for his speaker to address their complex feelings toward the subject of desire. The speaker explains that desire has the power to both mentally and physically blind people, causing them to strive towards instant, materialistic gratification rather than true self-satisfaction. However, these feelings seem almost ironic as it appears that through discovering the true face of desire, the speaker found a new longing: to kill the evil that is desire. In order to express such complicated feelings to readers, Sidney relies on various poetic and literary devices such as repetition, alliteration, and form to help present to his readers what the speaker believes desire…

Friendship: a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people. True friendship is so loosely defined that even a dictionary definition is not truly correct, as a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people can relate to unfriendly situations that are both mutual, as well. Having true friendship and love are both defined through the eyes of the beholder, yet there are specific parts that make up each situation. In the novels The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien and Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Huston, friendship and romance are themes that constantly follow throughout both novels. In The Things They Carried, the narrator shares many different war stories with the reader, each of which features its…

Love can definitely be one the strongest emotions an individual may feel throughout their lifetime. At one end it can be like a drug which has you floating endlessly on a cloud, on the other end it can be an anchor, pulling you down with all its might forcing you to drown. The social proverb love is blind can be interpreted as many things, one of which being that when an individual loves someone else they tend to not have the ability to see fault or flaws in the one that they love. In turn the individual being “blind” to the flaws within the relationship are bound to stay which can be detrimental. Social Psychologists have done many studies that tend to prove the social proverb “love is blind to be true.…
