Love is an interesting and difficult thing. To be in love with someone or something can make you forget everything, making time feel slower. All you do is focus on that one thing forgetting your reality. There 's different types of love 's like ones for family, friends, and significant others. You get a strong attachment to them. Love is intensified feeling one could have for anything. You can love places and inanimate objects. Like my love for music intensified over the years, to escape reality.

To be classified as good music it needs to say something. The songwriter can not just keep repeating the same words again to a catchy beat, unlike today music. The song needs to be written to tell something whether it 's about how society is or how they feel towards someone. Old school music is where people sang to tell something that 's when they sang to tell people what 's going on around them and for people to realize that everything is not rainbows and sprinkles.

There will never be a rapper who talks about real hardships like #Tupac. People can say whatever they want about how the media painted him as a bad person or how the media only seemed to show the negative lifestyle he lived but Tupac truly was more than that negative image. He was a man that understood the struggles everyone faced in their live time. He understood that in order to make America or any country greater than what is was is by forgetting the colors of our skin and instead come together as one to make a difference because we all go through hardships and we all need a helping hand. Just like Tupac said, "If this is truly a melting pot in a country where we care about and Lady Liberty loved us then we really need to be like that".…

The Great Gatsby Love is a strange and undefinable emotion, the concepts and ideas about love are very broad, but one thing is not: It is powerful. Love makes people vulnerable, it may seem like a bullet that pierces through your perpetuity, but what is a person without vulnerability. People are born from that passion and that is why life is an endless conquest in pursuit of that same love. The feel of it is what makes a human a human. All rationality and sanity go out the window and one is left in their original state, almost like an animal of instinct.…

The screeching of my violin echoed off the wall as I struggled to play Mendelssohn's concerto in E minor. The double stops that were meant to flow in harmony came out in a jumbled mass of notes indistinguishable from the shriek of a dying cow. I whimpered as these terrible sounds emitted out of my violin, and threw my violin down in defeat. I slowly tilted my head towards the clock, a terrifying reminder that my addition was only 10 min away. I gathered up my music, and ambled away from the empty practice room to where my judge would listen to my audition.…

Different moments of our lives change us and shape us into the man or woman whom one day we will become. One moment that changed me was when I got my first instrument. Getting my first instrument was exciting, yet challenging at the same time. When I told my mom that I wanted to start playing music, I didn’t realize how hard it can truly be. I didn’t think of how much patience and time I would need to put into my practicing.…

Why I Sing Chaeley Winkler I cannot remember a time when I wasn’t singing. Of course, I know there was time before I could speak or burble as infants do, so there must have existed a certain silence before sound, however the mere thought of being so silent—unable to reach out with voice or touch—disturbs me to no end. But these thoughts of a time before sound hadn’t quite crossed my mind until I began to question the finer, tinier oddities in my life. These questions emerged at around the age of seven, before they had manifested as inner thoughts.…

It was very hard for me to adjust, I was fatigued and emotionally hurt, I turned to writing. My love for writing grew into a bigger part of my life when I kept dream journals.…

Every person in this world has an individual creativity built within them. My individual creativity personally took me a while to uncover, I only recently unearthed my true creativity during my junior year. I express my creativity through makeup, poetry, painting, drawing and redecorating my surroundings such as my room which I like to think of as my sanctuary because it’s the only place I can disconnect myself from everything, focus on myself and reflect on my days. Makeup is my main outlet of expression since that’s the one that’s in the spotlight and is a quote on quote paraded for the public eye to see when used correctly and minimally to enhance ones beauty it makes a person look more presentable and put together. I was inspired to write…
