Someone might look at the word love and immediately come to the conclusion of hearts and happiness and unconditional acceptance and adoration for another person. When in actuality, love can also be a slow painful suicide. Love is a coin flip, the consequences both uplifting and improving someone and his or her aspects while also drowning them in sorrow and destroying logical sense. When one dedicates their love and wellbeing to one specific person, their emotions come to rely on them and if the object of their affection were to suddenly disappear, violently ripped away like words to the wind, all bets are off and they become unstable and sink into anxiety, depression, anger, stress, and other such radical emotions. In most perceptions, love is blind to someone’s faults and flaws so watching from a far one might stare mesmerized at their object of affection. To them, that person is pure and perfect in every aspect, an angel walking the earth. However, they are flawed and will make mistakes, though despite that they are loved for them because those imperfections make them who they are and are seen as perfectly imperfect. Unfortunately because they are imperfect bad things happen and sometimes people get hurt. People end up in hospitals, are shipped off to war, or disappear in any sense such as running away or being kidnapped or in other forms. People die. Death of any loved one is no easy obstacle to overcome. Death is a permanent ending of everything. It leaves love behind with only memories to give. What people do not realize is that death is pain and not just for the deceased, but for the living as well. When one loses someone they love, they no longer have the opportunity to see them or go to them when things go awry. The dependency they had is gone and they are left to make sense of everything. They merely have memories and nothing to do with them. Memorials may be made and memorabilia kept, but they will forever have the emotions they keep along with those memories and those feelings will never go away.
