Love In William Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet

Some people are willing to do anything for the love of their life - this is portrayed in “Romeo and Juliet”. William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” Tells the story of two star-crossed lovers caught in a family's feud. Romeo falls in love with their families enemies daughter Juliet. They get married in secret by the friar, after Juliet's cousin Tybalt kills Romeo’s cousin Mercutio, out of revenge Romeo kills tybalt. The prince banishes Romeo due to tybalt's death. The friar plans to send Juliet into a deep sleep to get them together, but romeo doesn't get the letter and they commit suicide. A central theme of the story is that love can be so strong it causes people to disregard things such as family and society for eachother

An example of this is when a person totally shuts out their family because one person wants to be with another person. Someone might shut out their whole family for the person they love, or shut the whole world out for them. In the quote “ O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; or, if thou wilt not, be sworn my love, and I’ll no longer be a capulet? This quote suggests that Juliet is willing to shut out her family for Romeo even change her name so she can be with romeo.
