This could be true for Chitra and Mahendra, because in the film they tend to argue a lot over minor things like house work. The power dynamics for Chitra and Mahendra have a very diverse power dynamic, in most cases Chitra is making more of the important decisions, because she is the one that is more stable. They have a power struggle in communication and their arguments escalate quickly. He constantly is told by his dad and father in law to listen and pay attention to the needs of his wife but he doesn’t listen. When it comes to their thoughts on the future they seem to have a syncretic relationship. They both want to move and start a family once they are financial
