Harvey Milk says, “it takes no compromise to give people their rights…it takes no money to respect the individual. It takes no political deal to give people freedom. It takes no survey to remove repression” (Brainy Quote 1). Same sex marriage is now recognized in all 50 states of the U.S. as well as numerous other countries in our world today. This is between a woman and a woman or a man and a man. Even though it is now recognized, does not mean everyone approves this or feels the need to further allow this act. What is marriage? Marriage is defined as “the legally or formally recognized union of two people as partners in a relationship” (Definition of Marriage). In the article on Breitbart it says,” the Supreme Court has held there is a 14th amendment right for people of the same sex to marry” (“Supreme Court Says” 1).
