I suffered from butterflies and knots in your stomach as well as loss of speech. The still remember the first time I really talked to my girlfriend. We were at a concert and she asked me to dance and let me make this clear I’m not the greatest dancer. I was tense and stiff in the beginning and she looked at me and said, “Just relax and do what I do”. Slowly I loosened up and things got easier, but I always look back on that moment and laugh at how ridiculous I was. After all the nerves fade and you become a little more familiar with that person stage two hits. Stage two is kind of the tiptoe stage where you still don’t act yourself yet. You feel the person out and hold back things you want to say because you don’t know how they’ll respond to it. Then there’s the fart stage, the cat is out of the bag you have now farted in front of your significant other and you start showing your true colors. When you love an object it has sentimental value and isn’t just an object anymore it’s more of a piece of you. Its something that you cherish, you’re proud of it or it reminds you of something/someone. For me it’d have to be my Glock 19, not because I’m crazy about guns or anything, but because it’s something I saved up for. I always found ways to spend money and never actually saved up for something until this. It was a big feat for me to save little by little out of my paychecks and put it towards something I really wanted. Because of this it is something I’m proud of and it’s the only object I would say I “love”. I don’t really have any sentimental objects, but if I did I’m sure it would be important to me. Like in the movie Titanic, Rose has a necklace that was given to her by someone she loves. When she sees the necklace she’s reminded of her special someone. At the end of the movie they show a clip of her throwing it back into the ocean where she lost the person she was in love with. I think that was a powerful representation of love because the sentimental value to her was more important than the price of the necklace. Once again it just showed how powerful love can
