Love, Bravery these are all things that are in this text.
In the story Rikki Tikki Tavi by Rudyard Kipling the theme is love can make people brave.
Throughout the story they show love and bravery.
Can you all relate to this because I can.

Rikki Tikki is a brave little mongoose in the story. In the text it states, “Then he jumped. His head was lying a little clear of the water jar under the curve of it his teeth just met.” (para.58) This shows the character trait bravery because he fought Nag an animal bigger than Rikki Tikki. This proves my thesis because Rikki fought of Nag since the family loves him and he loves the family so much that he protected them. In the story it says that, “Karait had lunged out once to far, Rikki Tikki had sprung,

In the passage, is says, “What’s the matter? asked Rikki Tikki. We are miserable, said Darzee. One of our eggs fell out of the nest yesterday and Nag ate him. H’m! said Rikki Tikki, that is sad, but I am a stranger here, who is Nag?” This is an example of personification because of the way the animals talk like they are humans but, they are animals and animals can not talk in real life. This example of personification proves my thesis because Darzee and Rikki Tikki just met and I think that they are going to be friends so they can trick Nagaina later on in the story. Another example in the story is, “Now, he said when he awoke, I will go back to the house. Tell the Coppersmith, Darzee, and he will tell the garden that Nagaina is dead.” This is personification because because they are talking and there are no coppersmiths of the garden that is just in their world. This also proves my thesis because Rikki Tikki had the power to kill Nagaina the snake from the love that the family gave him. In conclusion, Rudyard Kipling, the author, uses personification to demonstrate the character’s and their

n the short story, “Rikki-tikki-tavi” written by Rudyard Kipling, the character Rikki-tikki can be described as a valiant mongoose. In this story, Rikki arises conflicts with two deadly cobras named Nag and Nagaina and has to resolve them in order to keep his human family safe. In the beginning of the story, the narrator states, “This is a story of the great war that Rikki-tikki fought single-handed…”(22). This illustrates Rikki as brave in the way that a “war” is usually fought with armies of men, whereas Rikki is fighting one himself single-handedly. The author continues to illustrates that Rikki is courageous when he states “Marks or no marks, do you think it is right for you to eat fledglings out of a nest?” toward the cobra, Nag(24-25).…

The speaker of my poem is Richard Wilbur listening to his daughter type on typewriter. Hearing this reminds him of when he found a starling in her room that couldn’t get out, but after many failed attempts it finally escaped. This back flash makes him think of what his daughter will have to have to go through during her life and how he hopes she gets the same outcome as the starling. Richard Wilbur uses personification to help describe feelings he has and the feelings of different things throughout the poem.…
