Furthermore, if we continue down the path in which we are traveling and also don’t have much knowledge of our family history, death or major sickness is the synopsis of our future. This chapter opens my eyes and makes me want to revise my so called healthy life. If I began to pay closer attention to not only the words that lie in front of my eyes but also the ones hidden behind those then maybe I can begin to live and actual healthy life instead of a fake one. This is really funny because it makes so much sense. When I was working out and maintaining what I thought was a healthy diet and wondering why I wasn’t losing much weight it was because I really wasn’t doing what I was supposed to. I will look into more information and possibly read the chapter more to get a clearer understanding so that I can began my first health corrected

This was the expansion of world super power nations, which included: France, Britain and Spain in the 17th century, to the discovery of new lands along the Atlantic coast of the North America. In 1604, a few Frenchmen embarked on an expedition to the New World, which was largely unpopulated by the French at the time. Justice Chisholm explains, “When the brave DeMonts with his little flotilla entered Passamaquoddy Bay in 1604 to put into effect his great scheme to colonize Acadia, by which name Nova Scotia.”…

Abraham uses the situation between Dr. Jones’ advice for Tommy to reduce his intake for salt and Tommy’s deliberate refusal to this advice to further support this claim. When physicians warn patients, like Tommy, to go on a salt free diet, some patients may deny being able to follow the recommended lifestyle due to the fact that “[they] could if [they] wanted to… [but eating salt food] is just something [they do]” (Abraham 138). This proves the point that some patients do not consider the importance of pursuing a healthy lifestyle. They have the mindset that if they “need to stop doing [something in their diet], they can do it” (Abraham 138).…

Despite the controversy, one thing is certain, the Louisiana Purchase has opened our eyes and helped us gain a better knowledge on how our constitution works.…
