Louis pasteur was born in Dole, Jura, France in 1822. His grades in school were only above average. He attended the college d’Arbois and Ecole Normale Superieure. He wanted to find the vaccine because as a child his village was attacked by a rabid wolf. He took the foam from rabid animals and studied it under a microscope. He found out that the virus caused hydrophobia. He found a vaccine that worked to animals. A mother brung her son who was bitten by a mad dog to pasteur. He tried the vaccine on the child and it worked. People all around the world came to receive the vaccine.
Louis Pasteur discovered many things in science. He investigated the silkworm disease. He proved Robert Koch right about the disease anthrax. Louis Pasteur spent time in the center of the silk trade. He wondered what caused an ailment to the silkworms. He found out that the worms suffered from more than one disease. He discovered that the silkworms suffered from two different microbial diseases, he saved the silk industry with this discovery.
