Louis XVI aka Louis Auguste of France was born on August 23rd, 1754. Louis Auguste was lucky enough to be born in the beautiful palace of Versailles, where he became the son of Marie-Joseph of Saxony and Louis. Louis grew up in his early years being a very bright and educated boy, however he was very shy due to the fact that he had tutors rather than going to school. With this tutor, he studied religion, moralities, and humanities.Louis XVI was known to be a very active person, he enjoyed wrestling and hunting. Louis also had a very unique skill of locksmithing which became his lifelong hobby. On the very tragic day of December 20th 1765, his father died from the horrible disease named tuberculosis. The meeting ended up turning on him and the third estate declared itself a national assembly by june of 1789. Louis resisted and resisted until he was forced to comply with his orders in july of 1789. In october of 1789, the royal family was moved from Versailles to Paris. In june of 1791, Louis and Marie even tried to escape, however they were caught and brought back to Paris where he lost all his respect. During the fall of 1791, Louis was trying so hard to start a war with Austria, where he was hoping he would win and gain his respect back. During April of 1792, the war broke out and the National Assembly was suspicious about treason and suspended his powers.Later in the year of 1792, the assembly established the first french republic.This then concluded with findings that proved Louis with doing secret dealings with enemy countries. Louis and his whole family were charged with treason. January 21, 1793, Louis was beheaded at Place de la Revolution. Nine months later, Marie was beheaded, Louis third son Louis-Charles died in prison due to harsh conditions, and his daughter Maria-Theresa was released from prison and sent to her family in
