Loudoun County Public School Analysis

My public school career was one filled with corruption, incompetence, and hardships, from teachers who would fail you for no reason to kids who would try to frame you for things simply because they didn’t like the way you dressed, with the exceptions of a few students and teachers I experienced some of the worst sides of the Loudoun County Public School system. Yet I find myself glad that I learned all the lessons I did from those hard times because without them I would not be the person I am today.

One of my first clear memories from elementary school was my first-grade teacher, in the interest of privacy I will leave her name as Ms.R. Ms.R was a teacher that appeared to enjoy literally yelling at students for the smallest of things and used public humiliation as her main tool for discipline. The memory that I remember so clearly is one of a false accusation that changed how I had to work in her class. But this kid wasn't sharpening his pencil rather he was taking the metal end that holds the eraser and shoving it in the machine causing it to stop, soon the metal piece came off the pencil and jammed the sharpener, at which point the kid went to the substitute teacher and explained that I had taken the metal piece and jammed it in there myself. This angered the substitute and she made me sit outside for the rest of recess. After she wrote a note to Ms.R explaining what I had “done”, the next day I returned knowing that I was going to be in huge trouble and sure enough I was right. The teacher let the class take a seat and then walked to the front of the class holding a box of special pencils that have a large diameter so that they do not fit into a standard sharpener, making it so that you use a
