Lou Holtz is a NCAA coach and is known to be an amazing leader for his teams. He has lead a team to many championships and bowls. The reason his team was so successful as a coach is because of his intelligence and his leadership skills. He had these characteristic help him become an amazing coach. Holtz was a very aware coach. He knew his players, his budget, his coaching skills, and the expectations from the fans. After his first year as a coach was a flop he decided to re-evaluate his training and play making. This was a hard decision for him to make, changing his beliefs and ideals for a good football team though his team ended up winning many games.
