Lost In Death Valley

Brandon, Curtis, and Nick just got out of college and was scouted to a MLS team called the sounders. In the off season, Brandon, Curtis, and Nick wanted to go on a trip to Death Valley, and of course Nick thought he could drive there without directions or a gps. But anyways they all packed up to go to Death Valley. On their way there they stop at a campsite to see if anybody had directions, But nobody was there. So they kept on driving, and finally they found Death Valley. By the time they got their, they realized they’re out of gas. So they all got out of the car, and starting walking towards death valley. They only had one water bottle and it tasted terrible, like green beans and hot sauce and it was 105 degrees.

Then the water was gone. Brandon, Curtis, and Nick all had their phones, but there was no service and they couldn’t call anyone.
So then they all got in the car and turned on the car, and slept all night with the ac on. When they woke up in the morning, Nick didn’t feel good and Curtis and Brandon thought he was sick. So Brandon and Curtis went to find water. When they came back to tell him they couldn’t find anything, they found Nick in the car with his eyes closed and he was really pale. So Brandon went to go feel his pulse, nothing was beating. So Curtis asked him, “ Well, is he okay?” Brandon responded with a negative answer, “ No, I’m so sorry.” Then Curtis absolutely broke into tears.
So to honor Nick, Brandon and Curtis buried him in sand and rocks and left a note in the ground saying, “ We’re gonna miss you Nick, your our best pal.”
So Curtis and Brandon moved on, and suddenly they hear a noise. The noise sounded like a helicopter, and in the distance they saw a helicopter. As soon as they saw it, they started jumping up and down to signal the helicopter.
