The golden dog was the credibility of the video. The commercial also showed that the dog was the man’s friend. There was no spoken language in the video, but Budweiser itself was the one representing. The gold dog was used in the advertisement as the face of the commercial, to assure that the audience felt inclined to trust in what was being presented. The commercial appeal the feeling of wanting to help a dog. To be more specific on the emotions it appealed to feel happy and sad. The golden dog was presented living on a farm with horses. Then the golden dog was lost trying to find its way back home to his friends. As the golden dog found its way back home, he was in danger by a wolf. Horses then escaped from the barn to help the dog return safely. As the dog found its way back home the owner stepped outside to receive it with happiness. The pathos of the end of the commercial was back to happiness. The video was very trusting because they had the plant next to the dog letting the audience know that Kleenex is safe. Also, it contained the package of Kleenex. The video’s music accompanied it well making the pathos of the advertisement feel secure. Moreover, for the logos “PEFC Kleenex” stated “Lab test for future generations” because they were sending the message to their audience letting them know that their product is safe to use (PEFC Kleenex advertisement). The commercials just describe all included of ethos, pathos, and logos. Many advertisements include this rhetoric forms. The video that was the strongest on the three rhetoric was “Friends are waiting” because the ethos, pathos, and logos were strongly supported.
