When choosing a career it is important to keep in mind the future you will have with that job and whether or not it allows you to grow. In a ten year span from 2014-2024, there are 255,400 projected job openings as a loss prevention analyst (Loss Prevention Managers). In a world where the competition for jobs is very intense, it appears there is little future or room to grow as a loss prevention analyst. When asked what education is acceptable to become a loss prevention analyst, many replied that they had a four year bachelor’s degree in business (Loss Prevention Analyst). Also, it is important to have knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, government regulations, agency rules, and the domestic political process (Loss Prevention Manager). Knowing and understanding these laws and regulations is important in order to minimize losses or damages to the company.
