The Los Angeles coliseum has had one of the biggest impact in Los Angeles area regarding the lost heroes from the World War I and gathering athletes from all over the world. According to the Los Angeles memorial Coliseum News states, “ The Coliseum was commissioned to be built in 1921 as a memorial to Los Angeles veterans of World War I” The coliseum was originally made to place a tribute to the lost hero’s from the World War I. On November 12,1932 fourteen years after the World War I a ceremony was held in the coliseum to tribute to the hero’s. The ceremony was filled with happiness but also was filled with sadness.
