1. I am choosing A Raisin in the Sun to work with as my play. I find the play very interesting to read and the movie was very good. The main characters are interesting with their dreams and how they all see life differently. I am not sure I will put the play into conversation with the film production.
2. The most important theme from A Raisin in the Sun is the dreams that the members of the family all want to meet. Those dreams are key because the family is facing racial oppression and are struggling to cope with being poor.
3. The poem's meaning is about a family that has the opportunity to make their dreams come true as 10,000 dollars arrive. A Raisin in the Sun explores turning dreams into reality of the Younger family or into a potential
