Loretta disclosed she gets wiped with a stick, flip-flops, hand and a belt. Loretta stated she covered herself in blanket when she get a beating. Loretta is being held down by the other children, she was punched in the stomach and they picked a hand full of her hair out. Loretta stated that recently she purposely wear a long sleeve shirt to school to cover a bruise she had on her arm. Loretta stated that she was punched her by another child. Loretta stated that Benjie broke James’ arm when they were playing outside on a bed that is on bricks. Loretta stated that the grandparents talk about shooting each other in the front of her. Last year James stabbed another child in the back of the head was expelled from school. When the grandmother registered the children in school, she stated the children are not allow to talk to the guidance counselor, mental health counselor, school social worker, nor the principal. Loretta stated that they are not allowed to tell and they were told that “the kid who tells is the kid who gets beat the most.” This morning Sarafina came and got Loretta up because DSS was coming, and DSS can’t know that she lives there. DSS called the grandmother and stated that they were coming, supposedly Nancy kids are there but they don’t supposed to be there. Sonya calls Loretta stupid and retarded. Loretta stated that “I don’t want to be part of this family anymore.” In the past, Sonya had picked up the phone to call DSS and dared Loretta to talk to someone at DSS.
