Cedric and I were transported to an overgrown graveyard. I knew that this wasn’t right. No one told Cedric and I that the Cup would take us anywhere. Suddenly, we heard someone coming. Peter Pettigrew, an evil wizard, came towards us and killed Cedric. He then pulled me towards a grave with the name Tom Riddle carved into it. That was when I knew I was probably going to die. Tom Riddle was Lord Voldemort’s name before he changed it. Lord Voldemort is the most powerful dark wizard, and he has wanted to kill me since I started Hogwarts. Professor Dumbledore said that he is very weak, and we have time before he comes back. Peter, who works for Voldemort, trapped me against the gravestone. I was forced to watch him cut off his hand to make a weird potion that a body emerged out of. Voldemort had …show more content…
Lord Voldemort wanted to duel with me. Dueling is when two wizards or witches battle with spells. I knew I was going to die like Cedric, but I was still going to try to defeat him. Peter set me free, but I knew better than to try and escape. I used a spell that should bring me his wand, and Voldemort used a spell that would kill me. Our spells met in the middle, but I could tell Lord Voldemort’s spell was going to reach me before my spell reached him. And then ghostly figures start coming out of his wand. First Cedric, then my mom came out, and then my dad. Both of them had been killed by Voldemort when I was a year old. They told me to not break the connection the wands had, and that I had to run back to the Triwizard Cup to return to Hogwarts. Cedric asked me to return his body to his father, and I gratefully accepted. I couldn’t leave Cedric’s body here. The figures told me now was the time to go, and I broke the connection and sprinted towards the Cup. I could hear his followers trying to stop me, but I kept going. I made it to the Cup and managed to get back to Hogwarts with Cedric’s

Monday, August 22nd, 2016, approximately 10 o’clock PM. I arrived home after a typical summer night out with my friends at the local Applebee’s, however I was greeted at the door by my already enraged father. Before I had time to take my shoes off of my feet, my father was already ridiculing me, spouting phrases such as “you’re so irresponsible” and “you cannot be trusted with anything.” Now of course there was some foul language included sporadically in those remarks, but overall I was shocked at why I was being attacked seemingly unprovoked. My father then decided to inform me that tomorrow at 8 AM I had to report to the soccer fields at Holy Ghost Preparatory School for soccer tryouts.…

Attack When a mindset brings forth both failure and success, it is difficult to understand its effectiveness. In my athletic career, I experience both victory and defeat as a direct result of aggressiveness. I would rather reflect upon my athletic careers and think “I cannot believe I did that,” rather than think “I wish I did that”. Whether it be stealing home late in a baseball game with my team down by two or trying to granby-roll my opponent while I am up by ten, I refuse to be conservative in athletics. During my junior wrestling season nearly every one of my losses were a result of over-aggressiveness.…

In my opinion, Voldemort is the best villain I know. Voldemort is a very unique villain, his whole existence is purely tied to Harry Potter. Back when this all started, Voldemort’s big move for power relied on murdering Harry Potter, who just sat there innocently in his diapers as a man zapped him point blank with an Avada Kedavra curse. Lots of bad guys are simply motivated by taking over the world. The really special ones have a penchant for ethnic cleansing along the way.…
