First and foremost, Prince was an influential singer, songwriter, musician AND actor. Similarly, he still influences the present day. This is because he had won awards for his music and starred in notable films. Prince also had a musical childhood, received praise for his songs and movies, had famous parents and six siblings, a famed history and influence on the world before his untimely passing.

Prince was a fairly healthy man at the time of his death. He was found dead in an elevator in his home and studio called Paisley Park. Autopsies determined that he had accidently overdosed on tablets containing an opioid called fentanyl. According to https://www.drugabuse.gov/drugs-abuse/fentanyl , fentanyl is usually known to ease patients of critical pain and cases of the opioid being addictive also exsist. Prince was reported to have been taking painkillers containing fentanyl because of “severe hip pain he was struggling with ever since his Purple Rain tour” ( http://heavy.com/entertainment/2016/06/why-did-prince-take-opioids-addiction-which-percocet-hip-aids-sick-cause-of-death/ ). He was fifty-seven years of age at the time of his passing on April 21st of
