The novel “Lord of the flies” obviously takes place in a jungle and in Foster ideology he writes that the jungle and all in the jungle means more to the story than we first read. One of the examples I visuals more is when the boys climb up a mountain, in the novel the author say “They were high up..” After climbing the mountain the boys realized that they actually were on an island. Which to Foster idea would mean that a high view gives a clearer perception. Through the setting of “Lord of the flies” the reader who look more in depth would notice that the location and season emphasizes the actions of people without laws or limitations. The setting not only helps the message come to sight but gives a better description of it. Though the novel doesn’t give a specific season it created the seasons using the boy’s mood throughout a single day. In the morning it is spring, the schoolboys are happily goofing around and in complete joy without supervision. In the afternoon it is summer due to the heat they become less excited but still friendly with one another. Late afternoon was fall it was a mood of fear, which was created for the boys since they knew night was arising. Finally winter it affected some of the schoolboys making them lose all
