All you. I doubt that it’s a Beast. You told me that the Beast was on the mountain, but why would he come down here, where everyone is? He couldn’t catch us all could he? [The boys, including Ralph and Piggy felt realization come to their faces. Jack was growing more and more frustrated that I could see it in his eyes] Now, let’s see what this Beast truly is. [The boys hid behind me, as I grabbed one of the tiny spears they crafted and ended up poking the figure slightly until he sat up to reveal a young boy] See, everyone. Just a boy. Not a beast. (The...Beast...is...just...corpse, the boy panted) See, no beast just a corpse, now was that so difficult to understand.
