Throughout the entire novel, the conflict and theme of the story dramatizes as the clash between Ralph and Jack increases. Both of these charcters represent civilization and savagery. The theme in, " Lord of the Flies " is the conflict between human instinct to impluse towards savagery and the rules of civilzation, which undermine's this cause and design's people to live civilized. The main protagonist, " Ralph " remains the most civilized of all of charcters despite Piggy's intellegence. He repersents civilization. As for Ralph
